From 9:00am to 5:00pm – Every day ( except Sunday)
Pick up at your hotel in Florence at 9:00am.
We'll drive south to Siena on the Superstrada in order to save time
for your day trip to the sienese wine area.
We enter the Chianti area through the territory of Castellina, a charming hill town, which dates back to the 12th century. We'll make a stop to enjoy a walk inside the medieval wall.
Then we'll get on the Chianti road (222) and drive abt. 20 minutes until Radda in Chianti, another
lovely village, where we stop again, to stroll around and get some beautiful pictures.We'll go for our first wine tasting at Castle of Albola, where you'll also have lunch.
In the afternoon we'll drive to another winery, where we'll stop for the visit, and wine tasting.
Then, we'll head back to Florence driving through the famous rolling hills of Tuscany, covered by vineyards and olive groves. We'll make a stop at the 11th century Abbey of Passignano, a great place for pictures. |
