A day in Liguria, the "Italian riviera", the region of the ancient people called "liguri" who were already there before the Romans. This is the region of Cristoforo Colombo and of the delicious pesto sauce. Starting from Florence we will drive through the western side of Tuscany, while you will enjoy the view our driving guide will introduce you to the history and culture of the places we will pass by like Lucca, Carra Marble Quarries and La Spezia.
Cinque Terre is a National Park, also suitable for hiking, trekking and scuba-diving. We will visit four of the five fisherman villages along this rocky spectacular coast; here you can enjoy the walk on the “the path of love", between the first and the second town and the nice boat ride until Vernazza, the nicest of the four, where you can have lunch and relax in Cinque Terre. Our vehicles allow us to drive in the upper side of the national park, from there you will have the chance to enjoy views of the coastal villages from the top.
