Day trip to Tuscany with a private driver

Program
9.00 a.m. With your driver guide you'll meet Giulio a full licensed truffle hunter.
9.15 - 10.45 a.m. truffle walk in the local forest with Giulio, who will share with you his knowledge and experience in a funny but informative program on the world of the Tuscan truffles.
11,15 – 12.15 a.m. Truffle didactic conversation at a local Restaurant.

Origin of the truffles in Tuscany Classification and presentation of each different varieties.
The different seasons of the truffles.
Truffles and trees a special symbiosis.
The real life of a truffle hunter.
The relationship between the truffle hunter and his dog.
Dog training techniques.
Truffle cleaning and maintaining technique.
12.30–2.00 p.m. Truffle lunch.
Example of a Menu
Entreé: Burrata al tartufo ( a local specialty of fresh cow cheese cream with truffle).
First plate: Tagliolini al tartufo di stagione (Tagliolini with seasonal truffle).
Second plate: Tagliata al tartufo con contorno di stagione ( Tagliata with truffle and seasonal vegetables).
Dessert: Tortino di ricotta con miele tartufato (Ricotta cake with truffle honey).
Wine: Vernaccia Panizzi 2011 poggio al sole chianti classico 2009.
In the afternoon, with your driver guide you will go to Greve in Chianti, Montefioralle, two of the most charming villages of Tuscany, you will stop at a winery, to know about the Chianti Classico process and taste 4 wines.
Return to Florence at about 5:30pm.
